Making a dream come true

The story of 'Alice in Wonderland' depicts Alice's imagination and dreams. It is about her adventures and her journey, working out who she wants to be.  Well this is 'My Wonderland'.  This is about my imagination and adventures, and my dreams.

My Wonderland aims to show, by example, how all of us in suburbia can change our habits and expectations and make a difference to the future of our world. ​​

​What was back lawn, is now Tam's orchard with veggies growing underneath.

What isn't eaten by: firstly the humans, then the cat and dog, is then given to the chickens. 

Then they eat the left overs, poop it out, scratch it around with the rest of the greens, plus a bit of straw and some water, and back on the garden it goes, as the best ever compost.

Where the pool used to be, we now have fruit trees and raised garden beds. Very happy not to be waisting all that electricity running the pump, time cleaning it and water topping it up.

3 x 3000lt Water tanks plumbed into the hot water system covers us for about 80% of our water, for about 6 months of the year, when it rains.

The more water you use, the more you save. I have a bath every afternoon, while we have free water.
